In my opinion, they are not worth it and never had been. My wife got a set for her ele when they first became available (ectos were running between 8 and 10K back then). At first she loved them and would wear them all the time, now after almost two years of having them she no longer wears them at all.
In the end, it is your opinion that matters but I advise you consider carefully before you buy them. Seventy five ectos is still a lot of money. |

i've got 5 pairs across all my characters and i think they were all worth it. never regretted getting a pair, but then again how could you when you're rolling in so many ectos you don't know what to do with them.

Personally I think they only look good on a female Mesmer. The full arm thing is kind of stupid in my own opinion, so I like the cut-off-at-the-wrist look.
But, hey. If you like them, don't let anyone else's opinion stop you from getting them. It's your money, right? You can do whatever the hell you want with it. If I ever happened to have enough ecto for them (lol), I'd probably get them. They're rather low on my to-get list for my Mesmer. Besides, I can't stop myself from selling my ecto dirt cheap to a friend. I guess I want her to get her armor more than I want chaos gloves. |

Honestly, although I got them a long time ago I regret it. They can't go in the HoM and thus have no significant purpose.

Depends all on how BIG you want your ePenis to be...
They don't say nice gloves...they say "YOU ARE HUUUUUGGGGEEEE!!!!!" - Spanish Fly works. |

If you're a war.... make sure it looks good with your armor. With warriors mostly not the case.

I was a fan of Chaos Gloves from day one; the idea of a Monk with glowing hands always sounded great and godly to me. So I went for it and I don't regret it one bit.
I think they look good on any professsion provided you use it with sleeveless armor - because if the armor has long sleeves, the elbow part will be uncovered and look really awful (Ele/Asn/War FoW armor for example). It works really well on FoW armor for Monk/Para/Derv though IMHO. Mesmers look more discrete, with a smaller glow on hands only (not forearms) so those looking for a less flashy look can get them on their Mesmer. |

A good thing to keep in mind:
Deldrimor armor is without the head and gloves on some sets. When I get that armor, I'm wearing sunglasses and Dragon/Destroyer Gauntlets. So if your wearing that armor, it would be a good idea to get an eotn special armor piece. |

If you want to get the gloves. Just get the gloves. It is your money anyways. If you dont know for sure you may give me the 75 ectos
But if you like em. Just buy em. Why shouldnt you buy something cuz sum1 else say :"They're ugly". They probarly buy things that you find ugly so |

I bought chaos gloves for my Mesmer because I had to do something with the gold - you can only carry so much gold and you really can't take it with you. (I bought Mesmer ones because they don't look quite as dorky as the rest.)
As far as the e-peen aspect goes - chaos gloves are common as dirt now. Are they worth it? Once you have max armor and weapons, nothing else is really "worth it" - it's all just for show. But, as I said, you may as well spend the gold on something. |

I like the looks on that sin. Like I said before, I am quite fond of these Gloves, specially on sleeveless armors. |
